Ask two friends or family members to pick a nice-looking website at random. Study the website and answer these questions:
- What type of website are we looking at?
- Which industry is this website in?
- What is its purpose?
- Which different types of content are used?
- How is the content presented?
My mother likes the https://www.rituals.com Rituals website and it is a website made for selling products. It is in the cosmetics industry and the main purpose is to sell cosmetic collections.
Some parts of the website have information almost like an article while the rest is clearly scrollable “shelves” for products. The content used is mainly just things they sell and then at the bottom a way to sign up for a membership.
I don´t have any more friends (that can answer in time) to choose a random website they know of. So I will be using a website I found earlier today: https://www.oslopride.no/
The website is a mix between an information website and an e-shop. The industry I have no idea, but it is something about society and community. It´s purpose is to bring attention to Pride Month in the city of Oslo, as well as articles with the knowledge they have gathered on LGBTQA+ rights and stories.
The content is articles and a list of days different events will happen. The way it is set up is so that the events come first, then a small block line of articles that looks vastly different. Different enough to gather the attention of different demographics.

| Archetype | Trait | Example/symbol |
| Lover | Likes excitement and emotions. Sensual. | Wildcat and flamenco |
| Jester | Energetic and positive. Disconnected from reality. | A child. Any twin from any media ever. |
| Regular Joe | Nothing outstanding but wishes to be. | Satou Hiroshi from anime, IKEA |
| Saint | Kind, caring, patient, and with idealistic goals. | Angel, WWF |
| Boss | Commandeering, powerful, quick decision maker, result seeking | Cat/feline |
| Artist | Scatterbrained, head-in-clouds, eccentric | Almost any artist in any medium, ever. |
If you were creating a brand for your own portfolio, to represent your personality, which archetype would you choose? How would this archetype be presented with the:
- Overall visual style (use three descriptive words)
- Fonts (choose two fonts)
- Colour (create a color palette)
- Layout (use three descriptive words to define this)
- Photography style (use three descriptive words to define this)
My portfolio would be based on the Artist archetype and would probably have splashes of strong color in an organized mess (if based on my personality). Messy, bright, cheerful. Sans-seriffs and very large font size. The colors would probably be red, blue, and yellow. My photography style would probably be bright, nature-oriented, and positive.

I was tasked with making a high-functioning prototype for a website selling Eko-friendly, no-waste soap. I got heavy inspiration from https://www.wwf.no/ when it came to having a large nature image near the top as well as a black-white logo.
This is the end product: https://xd.adobe.com/EkO
